Experiment with the color black

It’s not the most well-known technique, but it works. No matter what your decorating tastes are, and whether you like a rustic or minimalist style, any, absolutely any interior design should contain some black.

Why? Black gives that sense of depth, character, and accent to an interior that hardly any other color can handle. You can simply place images in black frames in the interior, or hang black print curtains on the windows, or use sofa cushions in black stripes… It doesn’t matter how exactly you use this bold color in the decoration, as long as you find a place for it.

Some might say it’s easy to achieve the same effect with other deep shades, but we recommend you just try using black – and see what happens.
